Is it just me who thinks this tank is wildly overstocked or is this acceptable?

It's just one side of the tank. For all we know, the tank is 5 feet long.

But yeah, that's a lot of newts.

It´s not uncommon for rearing tanks to have dense populations, but i too agree that´s too many newts, at that size i would have separated them in smaller groups.
