As the title says, I’m trying to determine what my male axolotl might be. I got it from a local breeder who had an accidental clutch (parents were wild and a “lavender” mel, siblings were wild, mel, and Lucies). I’ve attached the mom (dad was a normal looking Lucy), and the “lavender” mel clutch mates.
I haven’t seen another axolotl that looks similar to my male. Maybe I’m just biased though haha.
From the pictures and cross comparison from some of Strohl’s baby mel axanthics I’m wondering if maybe there’s a possibility of a mel axanthic?
