Is this normal coloration or a microbial problem?

Hi all,

I've had my axolotl since mid-June. The tank usually is between 64-66 F. All water parameters (particularly nitrites, pH) are in what are considered (based upon what I've read here) the safe levels. Over time I have noticed my axolotl has accumulated some white splotchy spotting on its body. I've looked through a number of posts here and it looks like it may be normal with age. None of the white patches have every appeared fluffy or fungus like. My axolotl seems in good spirits, has its gills back, and eats normally. I just wanted to get some input to ease my mind. If this isn't normal, could someone suggest a way to resolve this? I have included a picture below.

Thanks!
