Hello everyone,

I've had my axolotl for a couple of months now, and everything has been going fine. Recently one of his gills is looking less pink and less full/fluffy than the other one, and I'm not sure if something could be going on. He seems fine otherwise, and his water parameters are OK. I attached the pic, so y'all can see what I'm talking about. Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a ton!

While it doesn't usually happen on only one side, I find my axoltol gill fluff levels fluctuate all the time depending on countless factors. As long as there's no fungus, water parameters are okay, and your axoltol seems otherwise healthy just keep an eye on them. They're probably okay.
