news just in on the bbc website, chytrid has been found in the wild in the UK in introduced populations of rana castabaenia.

It's on every continent except Asia, and this may have changed last I heard. It's bad. And who's spreading it? That's right! Everyone's favorite species! Homo sapiens! yay!

There have been some case documentation in Asia, but in most Asian countries there seems to be some kind of hesitation to conduct widespread testing...
