it's come to my attention that ivy's axolotls has recently been deemed a scam. redditors complain of golden albino axolotls bought from ivy having extremely short lifespans, which is a result of suspected inbreeding. ivy has allegedly been informed of this issue, yet fails to take action to fix it. she also sells dwarf and otherwise disabled axolotls, which is a clear issue from a moral standpoint. she also sells them for absolutely outrageous prices, juvenile axolotls (with no rare morphs whatsoever) are being sold for over $150. many are marked as "SUPER RARE" despite them being incredibly common. the worst complaint of all, however, has been on the subject of customers not receiving axolotls at all. i have linked the better business bureau page for ivy's axolotls below, and you can read for yourself. the current process seems to be that a customer purchases the animal and pays for shipping, then never receives it- instead being completely cut off and no longer receiving communication of any kind. there is not a single positive review on other sites, yet on ivy's own website she lists several glowing reviews. i assume this is from before she began participating in fraudulent business practices.
i urge all fellow caudates to interact with this thread in one way or another, ergo this information will hopefully be made one of the first few options when you look up the shop's name. i will be doing further work talking to those that have been scammed, and providing information further on.

link below to BBB;

picture taken from her website of a juvenile ditty leucistic marked "super rare" and selling for triple it's value.

This is one of few times I agree with Reddit. They also blacklist @Fantaxies for unorthodox practices and over-pricing yet cannot point to any ill health. And Fantaxies has also sold on here in the past...probably before they launched their website???

agreed. ive never liked either company, mostly for the overpricing, but i didn't find out about the more significant issues until recently. last i checked, ivy deleted her instagram
