Question: Just changed to sand

I changed my tank to sand and it is quite foggy is it okay to put my axolotl in it or do I have to wait for it to settle?
 
Sounds like someone didn't rinse enough! Maybe you should take it out and rinse it again, otherwise it's gonna get murky anytime the Axie stirs up the sand.
 
Yeah but I read up and heard the bacteria from cycling will keep it down?
 
Its much better now!!! I completely redid the whole thing. I must say sand looks much better than rocks!

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
