Just to make sure for a start; the axolotls have not been behaving different than usual. But I would like to get some peace of mind by having this case solved.

So, to keep it short, judging from the photo's would you say the axolots are just a bit on the fat side or might they actually be having bloat?
Especially the leucistic one I am a bit worried about because the lower belly part looks bigger in comparison to the rest. (The photo of the leucist alone has been taken a few days later than the one with both in them.)

They are indeed both females, but there has been no male around for the last two weeks (he died by a still unknown cause :( ) so would it still be able for the two females to carry eggs?

Absolutely in fact females can carry eggs for very long time waiting for a viable male to deposit them with. At leased that's my experience. All my females matured much quicker than my males and sat around with full bellies for quite an extended time until they were ready to produce spermatophores for the ladies. Since the male is missing the females are probably missing him and that's why they're not eating as much. Also probably why they are full of eggs and not laying them.
