We'd like to start by figuring out what kind of salamander you have. Can you describe it, size and color, and any other distinctive features, and tell what kind of an environment you found it in?
Best would be if you could post a picture of it.
Then we can try to figure out what it is, and what kind of care it would need. It definitely needs moisture, being an amphibian, and maybe a pond type of environment, a land type, or a mix; it all depends on the species. Can't wait to hear more!
