HI all
So, my little axy Spyro is currently having a salt bath because his leg he has been regenerating that had the bone sticking out got some fungus. Well as I was transfering him to the salt bath the bone came out/off so now it's completely clean but I decided to continue with the salt bath to ensure all the fungus is gone/won't return. It's his first bath.
Because he is only a juvie (About 10cm) I didn't want to do full dose. I did three teaspoons to 2 liters and it was rock salt (I assume noniodised but it wasn't in the packet so can't confirm). He's been in seven minutes so far. Will remove at fifteen minutes.
Did I do a strong enough bath (But not too strong for his size)? I also just did a full water change and clean of his temp tank (He will go in the main tank when the divider arrives) so that he is going into clean cool dechlorinated water. It's winter here and the temporary tank is holding temp at about 11 degrees celcious so not bothering to fridge. Thanks for input
