Just Wanted to say Hi and ask for some advice

Hello Caudata.org

My name is Aaron and I'm from N.S.W. Australia. I have recently purchased an axolotl and I thought i'd sign up to make sure I give my new pet the best care possible!
I have wanted an axolotl for a number of years and now hav purchased one.
I have been feeding it primarly raw chicken and blood worms, but it does not semm to eat the blood worms. when I put chicken in it goes for it almost instantly.
I would also like just some general advice on who to look after it and make sure it is happy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i dont actually have an axolotl but chicken may not be the best sort of food you should feed your axolotl. i have some links here that should help you find what your looking for

I would recommend earthworms and high-quality axolotl pellets as an optimal diet for the long-haul.
