Kaisarri eggs

My kaisers started to lay a few eggs...what is the best method or procedure to get the most eggs possible and the best technique to remove them??

I would avoid even basting, if they're laying on plants just use tongs and scissors to trim the pieces of plants they are laying on and place them in a separate tub. If any have fallen you can use a plastic spoon or such to pick them up, or baste out as gently as humanly possible.
