If you accidentally get two axolotls of different sexes, and they mate and lay eggs, what do you do?! Could you just remove them and get rid of them, or would that be cruel? I've seen threads some places that people are advertising eggs for sale, so could you sell them?

Honestly I don't know. Sorry if that came off in a weird way.. :p

I believe the forum enforces that eggs /can/ be removed, but they should be put in the freezer first to be culled humanely

Eggs can be sold, and I sell mine rather than culling them :)

You can keep lotls of the opposite sex together, but it is recommended to separate them every once in a while to give the female a break so she can de-stress, either just with a divider or in a whole separate tank

You can freeze really new eggs but that is the only humane way to do it i believe (may be wrong) Do your research! Also yes you can sell eggs on this forum and make some money just do research and check prices

Thanks
- Jack
