Stelly has been totally normal other than the one tiny white tip on the one gill - separate post about that - but I noticed today, he looks a slight reddy/orange going along his top fin and down over his hind end.

Do they change colours or is this bad?

Re: Leucistic CoLourdes change?

My leucistic had some white tip problem before but wasn't yet turn red or orange , at first I thought it might be fungus so i used The almond leaf extract . It didn't seem to change anything . I used pimafix ( in the tub) and at first it seems to works but then it went back again not long after. So I went and checking on everything and the only thing I can think of is that my water had change this pass few months ( city pipes had been change) it's quite soft and completely 0 alkaline. Soft water can be very harmful , it can cause anemia , then many other problem will follow. I could be wrong about this so please check your water and listen what other may say about it.

Thanks for your reply. :)

We are on an artisan well. It just fills itself. We do have a softener but I use water from the bypass so it's hard. The pH is also 7.6 to 8.

So then that must be fungus no doubt . API pimafix will help with the red belly& tail rash, plus the gill fungus , that's 2 things pimafix does very well. My axolotl love this product , it's natural extract from bay tree . Make water feels so nice and my axie gill very fluffy.
