Hey everyone. Glad to finally be here. Before I introduce myself, I must say, this is quite a difficult forum to join! It took me about a week and several attempts. "You may use whatever username you wish" apparently has some limits. Learned that on my first attempt. Afterwards, I ONLY tried using appropriate usernames, but still kept getting turned away from having an account here on Caudata; even with different email, name, IP, location, etc. Finally, I decided "One more try: let's hope there's some creepy old guys working these forums" and I made a girly looking email address, and entered a girls name where it asks for a name, a young birthday and - voila! I was accepted in just a few short hours. (Mostly just poking fun at them here, but to be fair, it is annoying to have to pretend to be a young girl in order to get accepted to a forum like this. A love for herping, a valid email address, and an appropriate username should be enough..) No hard feelings though, i'm here now!

Now that's out of the way, HELLO EVERYONE. I am CARTER. I raised firebelly newts, leopard geckos, and anoles as teenager before I got cancer. I ended up moving twice and obviously going through treatment, but am (hopefully) healthy enough now to be able to get back into some old hobbies like herping, guitar, and gaming. I wanted to make an account here because I would much rather source my new companions from an ethical and healthy source, and was told the classifieds here are a great tool to use. Hopefully i'll be able to learn here, as well as help others learn.

Looking forward to interacting with you all here on the forums, happy new year everyone and stay safe!

Accounts on Caudata.org are approved based on family-friendly usernames, a plausible real name (even just a first name) in the private real name field, whether there is a second application also in the queue from the same person or IP, and the IP address matching the country that the user says they're from.

The username choice is immaterial unless it's obviously offensive. The software automatically screens for appropriate age ranges before any user gets put into the moderation queue. Therefore, regarding your claims of "a young birthday", due to COPPA regulations, anyone presenting a birthdate younger than 13 would not reach the moderation queue.

Lastly on user moderation, there are 5 admins on caudata.org - 3 of them are adult females and 2 are adult males, including me. I am, by far, the most active but not guaranteed to be the one seeing any given application.

I went through the user moderation logs looking for the real name "Carter" and any associated accounts that were approved or rejected. Assuming I have connected them all correctly to you, your initial rejected account had an extreme reference to female fellatio. Any others were accepted or rejected based on the criteria I described above.

I am disappointed that you didn't just respond to the first rejection email (or any subsequent rejection emails) if you had an issue. I don't intend to comment on this further, as your posting is potentially libelous. If you want to discuss any decisions made on your attempted registration(s), please respond to any of the emails you received.
