Hello everyone.
So about two weeks ago I rescued a little axie from the pet shop (short gills, all 4 legs busy regenerating).
He was quite skinny, so naturally I fed him lots of earthworms. He ended up vomiting out 5 (rather large for such a small guy) pebbles. Since then, he has gained weight, but not as fast as the other axies I nursed to good health.
My guess is that a large part of this energy he gets from food goes to his regeneration? In that case, I'm wondering how long it will take, since his stumps have hardly grown at all and I have no experience with limb regeneration.
The axie in question is about 15cm/6 inches.
All water values are perfect, I measure them often enough
And all my other axies are in perfect health.
Temperature tends to balance between 19°C and 20°C.
Other than feeding, is there anything else I can do to help him?
Thanks
