Live plants solution...? regarding logs...

I found this by accident.

I love live plants in my tanks. And I usually have a mix in my aquariums. But since I nixed the undergravel filter for the axos I haven't had a way to keep the plants stable.

Well, I dredged up some hardy bacopa from the oscars tank. I didn't realize how tightly rooted these plants would be. They won't let go of the gravel. So now I have "weighted" live plants.

Now my question.

I would love to put a log in the tank. Is Arizona cotton wood ok to submerge in an Axolotl tank?

I see no reason why not...but use a test dummy first. Thats where all my not so good fish fry go to.
