I was curious if I can put live rock in my axolotl tank. Its a new tank and I want to increase the speed of cycling and I was wondering also if live rock could increase the speed of this. Thanks for any input.

From what I have read...live rock is used in salt water aquariums...can't find any mention of its use in a fresh water set up....but perhaps others know

I'm fairly certain it's just for salt water tanks too... ..
