I'm not enitirely sure if this has been posted before, but considering the difficulty some of us have in finding a vet I'm hoping this site may be useful to some, if not all of us:Herp Veterinarians

This is worldwide and hopefully trustworthy. I was happy to find it has listed the vet that I recently visited (and can recommened) on there.

I'm sorry if this has already been posted or is not suitable. =]

Awesome link, thanks! I second the sticky idea.

Oddly I found one in my town, but I have never even heard of that clinic . Must do research!

I'm glad it looks like it might be useful!

By all means Mekkha have a hunt to make sure it's not an imaginary clinic! I think it works by not only the admins research, but people informing her of clinics nearby!

If this does get stickied, or either way, could someone please change my spelling of 'recommened' to 'recommend' and 'enitirely' to 'entirely'! :p I have no idea what I was doing whilst writing that post!

There are at least 3 Internet listings for herp vets, which are listed in the CC FAQ:
Caudata Culture - Frequently Asked Questions
And there is also an Australia vet list in Axolotl Sanctuary.
Axolotl Sanctuary

Cool! Is this thread (or something similar) worth stickying on the forum to get them all into one prominent place? When googling pretty much anything related to axolotls, I almost always find a caudata forum thread at the top.

I know it's sort of repeating information, but it's pretty useful information to repeat, and I think the forum (being very search engine spider friendly) is more visible when searching.

Thanks for those, Jennewt. I still wonder if it's not worth stickying a thread with those in the Sick Axolotl section though, just for ease of access purposes! I don't care about it being this one. Just a thread for people to find Vet Listings easily when in a panic!

Lol, same here! This forum or a picture of the pokemon Wooper being compared to an Axolotl! :p

Chucking in a request, pretty, pretty, pretty please can we have this stickied? :p This is about the 4th time in about a week I've been hunting for it (been using different pcs so no point bookmarking it) would make it easier for people to find, especially new people as I can never find it with the search function

FYI

This probably won't affect anyone here, but just in case, I just tried called the vets in Welwyn Garden City:

David Ashton
Attimore Veterinary Group
Ridgeway
Welwyn Garden City
Hertfordshire AL7 2AD
01707 331963

The two vets that specialised in exotic pets have retired. They recommended Nine Lives Vet Centre in Redbourn......
