Question: Looking to possibly add a 2nd Axie to my tank

Scissors for chopping worms. I tried a knife, and indeed it was like a scene from Dexter.

@Real124, your axie really is tiny for its age, where did you get it from? I'm concerned that if it's not growing it may have other problems. Certainly a normal axie would be 9-12 inches at a year, if you add another axie it would outgrow its tankmate very quickly unless you got a divider.

In the uk you can buy 'baby' earthworms, theyre around 1" long and no chopping needed :D

You just have to make sure you dont get too big a supply or the earthworms grow big...

I agree with the others, just feed purely bloodworm until you get your hands on some earthworms, then feed solely earthworms.
A good guide is to have their tummy as wide as their head, if its thinner feed more, if its fatter, hold off for a day of so.

Also for a tank, length is more important than height. The general rule is 1 foot of floor space per axie, then an extra foot for tank decorations/filters ect.
So for two axies, youd need a three foot tank at least :D
