How long can axolotls be "lost" in the mail and still arrive alive? Seller says she shipped priorityTuesday, but here it is Saturday- the mailman has come and gone - still no babies. I don't have a good feeling about this.

where does the tracking number say the shipment is?

Limbo, it has not updated since it left the seller.

I have had axolotls stuck in "mail limbo" for a week before, I was super worried but they end up OK (albeit in super cloudy water!). In general they seem pretty hardy (particularly if past ~ 1-2 inches in size).

Best of luck!

Oh no, that's so stressful! Good luck, and I hope they get to you healthy. :( Situations like that must be so frustrating, where there's nothing either one of you can really do about it.

I had 3 c oriental/fire belly newts lost in mail for 14 days. Call post office they have held a package of mine before and never informed me. Found out when i stopped by to mail something.

Definitely contact the PO with the tracking info. At this point it sounds "lost" at the original post office.
