I thought this was absolutely adorable. Don't think it's for purchase, though. Axolotl art is always pretty cute.

Lies. They're fat, stubby, awkward swimmers, have huge faces, and smile. They're so cute. Watching them waddle and half swim around the tank makes me wonder if they're really meant to be aquatic. They seem to be the most inefficient predators ever, and that makes me wonder how they could have even survived in the wild. They're adorable.

I like that painting, Elena. I totally agree with your assessment also. Axolotls are what I call, "bulldog cute". Not a warm, fluffy kind of cute, but a misfit kind of cute. But, they are impressive as well. Primitive and aggressive looking when feeding. But as you say, they are always smiling. What I love about Tiger Salamanders! ;-D
