Low Water Gravel Siphon, Simple & Cheap!

I was going to clean out my FBT's tank tonight & needed to clean the gravel really good too, lots of dirt & algae in it. I have a big tank gravel cleaner, but it wouldn't work in this tank so I came up with this idea: I had some smaller hose, 3/8" or so & drilled a hole in the bottom of a tall pharmacy pill bottle & glued the hose in there. Worked perfectly! Sucked out all the <font color="ff0000">&#149;</font><font color="ff0000">&#149;</font><font color="ff0000">&#149;</font><font color="ff0000">&#149;</font> & none of the gravel & didn't do it too fast either.

Ha! That's amazing! *hurries n builds one too* I would guess that just hot glue would work, or elmers, as its not submerged for a long time, and is non toxic?
