is this the same freckles from other post?
way too young to sex.

It is the same freckles unfortunately. I got it as a rescue from an acquaintance of a friend who was moving and preparing to flush if they didn’t find someone to take 😑😑😑. Not even sure of its age.

I would guesstimate the age is probably somewhere around half a year, maybe less.

Hopefully, she'll make a full recovery (I'm just going to call it a she for now since that's what you've been calling it and I don't like he/she). If not, at least she was much happier than she would have been flushed down the toilet. That's just awful.

We will always remember your adorable little freckles, Freckles. Our hearts are crushed but you died well loved.💙

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
