l was wondering if anyone in melbourne knew of a good shop to get axies from. l went around to the local shops near me and there price where rude for sick looking axies, young small one's $30 each and they had no feathers l was very mad when l saw them. they looked really sick and had white stress marks on there body.l would be very greatful if anyone knew of any good sellers, l live in the western suburbs.

You could check out carribean gardens market in scoresby.
Bit of a hike but there is a guy there that has axolotl's for around the $10 mark.
The quality can sometimes fluctuate but over-all they're pretty good, better than some pet shops i've seen.

Eastern_axle, i went to that market on wednesday and his axies always look pretty good! I bought my last two from him and they are the really good! You have to be careful there now though, because there are two breeders now that go there. One stands on the end of an isle, and the other is along the isle. Go to the one along the isle, his are the ones that i get. (Unless the two change places! LOL).

Sorry but I have to disagree. The guy who's stall is at the end of the isle is much better, he is more helpfull and his axie's I find are better than the other guy.

lol i guess everyone has their preferances. Every time i go to that guy his axies dont look so good, and he told me once that i needed to buy a heater cos my axies were "cold" in the tank. Hehe maybe he learned alot since then hey!

the guy at the end of the isle isn't very good. He was the one who recommend me to use gravel and water with chlorine in it. and when i bought mudkips , she had fungus and her end of her tail torn off! ( oh and she has a toe growing out from another toe =S)
