Yeah, I'll have to wait until I move out of home to get a big tank - that'll be a couple of years away, so I've got ages to learn.

I can imagine how much there is to learn, though - I'm just learning how to look after my axie now - I've got no idea about little ones!

oh you're lucky! my mum has cracked it cos I said I want a new tank - and she's not even the one who will pay for it - it'll come out of my money!

I might see if I can move my room around a bit - I'm also worried about noise, though - I don't want to have a noisy filter - is yours noisy?

mine is super quiet. its a underground, air outlet filter. im buying a spray bar internal filter of ebay thats so quite you wont hear it at all.

yep my earth worms are alive and they can't get enough of them! does stella spit them out straight away?
I have two powerhead pumps attached to my filter, they are so quiet I have to cheack if they are going by putting my hand on them when I turn them on. the only noisy part is the bubble wall I have.

ye i got mine the same price, $15, cool ay (small world). im hopping around 100 but im going to try and give around 60 to pet shops and markets.

Hey Mel,

Yeah, I've tried Max Brenner but I don't think the chocolate quality is as good - at cacao they use real chocolate in the hot chocs and at Max Brenner they use powder. I also saw him do a presentation and he burnt the chocolate so I wasn't impressed - I guess I'm negatively biased now.

Stella spits them out after trying to swallow them for about 2 seconds - it seems like she just doesn't want something wriggly in her tummy or she can't be bothered trying to swallow something wriggly.

What brand are your power head pumps?

Also, how are your babies going? have you got any more pics?

I just got my tax return estimate so I think I'll buy another tank in a few weeks - If I can afford it - I'll have some car bills to pay off - If you've got any advice on where to get a good tank or what are the best products or where to get sand from, I'd love to hear some of your thoughts!

Hi guys Im from Melbourne too, there is a great aquarium next to vic market which I highly recomend, good for feeder fish, brine shrimp etc
