Missing gill?

One of the nee axolotls i just got came missing a gill, is there anything i can do to help her grow it back or should i just let it grow back by itself?

Missing how? Missing like deteriorated, missing like one of the others bit it off or something similar or missing like for some reason she just has one less gill than normal? Do you have any pictures?

Bitten off by another axolotl

One of my axies gills were bitten off by another and it never grew back. It's just a little stump in the middle of the other two. It's not harming him at all so he just looks a little lopsided. It may regrow, but it may not. Just keep an eye on it, and watch for fungus.
