Missing toes:((

I think my axolotl may have cut himself on something in the tank and lost a finger, but now some of his fingers and toes on other feet are turning red, we talked to a vet and started giving him daily salt baths and tank conditioner API Melafix, water parameters look good, but he has lost another finger and today his tail was all curled up, is there anything else I can do to help him heal?

use 50% holtfreters + 0.1g/l magnesium sulphate in the tank water (or at least 2g/l non+iodised salt), have his feet checked for infection.
do a full water parameter check.
