We have now tried Mo Mo on feeding from a jar and he didnt take any persuading to go into jar and eat his bloodworms as you can see from the following pics.
She did try to walk through at first but now she is fine. As soon as I put the jar in she was waiting for the bloodworms to go in. The jar is 3 inches long. Will have to alter it as Mo Mo grows!!
Its a lot easier and not messy as the bloodworms stay in jar.
Nice! YOu are so lucky he's eating from the jar. I tried the jar feeding method and it was just fail. My little one just keeps biting the jar and not go in and when I finall got him in, he just wants to get out and steps all over the worms.
My Axolotl keep the bloodworm intact they attack it from different angles and try to keep them in a pile, they do a pretty good job and I like the team work
