Molly Fry -> live food?

No your right, actually we both could be right and wrong at the same time, as I said, tis a very grey area of the law!

Well I just dumped about 20 day old molly fry in the tank. I'll feed the ones that don't get eaten and see what happens. Most of them are quick little buggers though, i think the only one that might get a feed is DinoLegs 'cause he's so hard to see, well camoflaged.

In the uk all vertebrates are protected by the cruelty to animals acts, so torturing fish etc is illegal and quite rightly so. However you may offer live fish as a prey item to other animals, you just have to comply with certain guidlines ie prey item must be small enough for predator to kill it quickly, you cant leave feeder fish in a predators tank indefinetly(ive caught zoos out on this one lol) you may only offer fish as prey for a certain number of hours out of a twenty four hour period etc

i've fed cherry shrimp to mine, about the same size, works just fine. I'd get cherry shrimp because you can breed them, so the 30 day quarentine period also leads to extra shrimp
