Question: Morning feeding scare

I just had a mini heart attack. I just fed Astrid a night crawler as I usually do. A few seconds later, I see her thrashing around. I rush over to the tank only to see half of the worm sticking out from behind her gills. So I used my feeding tweezer to pull it out. It is not bleeding and she ate it right up right after. She is swimming/walking around looking for more food. She seems fine and there was no bleeding. I hope she is ok. Has this ever happened to anyone?
