Moving to a new home!

Guess what i'm moving!! (not the axie). It will take 10mins to get to my new house.
Should i take my fish tank to my new house first before bringing her there? As i don't want her in the tank while it's in the car as the river rocks might smash into her.

Please tell how i can transport Mudkips without stressing her.

I seriously don't wanna put her in the fridge again.

oh yea... almost forgot.
Do i have to use the water which was in my fish tank? or do i have to cycle again?

I've found the best way to move (although I have 10 big tanks and not just one), is to move everything else first.

At the last possible minute, move the tank, and set it up as SOON as you get to the new house. Let it sit for a few hours while it's running, and you should be good to go.

As for the water. Get a large bucket (or two!) and fill one full of the substrate, the decorations, and the filter, without washing any of it! Top it off with water. Use the other bucket to fill with just tank water. The rest of the tank can be filled with treated water, and you shouldn't have a problem with the tank recycling.

It's important not to wash the decorations, filter, and substrate as this is where most of the bacteria live, not in the water itself. But by taking tank water, you put less of a shock on your animal. I've done this a good 3 or 4 times now, and haven't had a problem.
