Okay so just recently he tore part of his tail (see this link http://www.caudata.org/forum/f46-be...ore-part-his-tail-please-help.html#post459551) but it has been healing very nicely. I noticed lately he hasn't been pooping very much for about a week or so and this evening he vomited up the worms i fed him. I don't have any substrate in my tank anymore so i don't think it's possible for him to be impacted with anything? he only gets fed earthworms from our worm farm and bloodworms as a treat sometimes, I'm thinking of giving him some bloodworms tomorrow to see if he can stomach those. But I'm just not sure what else I can do?

How old is he? They poop less as they approach maturity.

Were the worms alive? Mine seem more prone to vomiting a worm is if is wiggling in its stomach. I suggest just trying worms again and see if he keeps them down this time.

he's roughly 18 months now, how often should i expect him to poop as he matures?

Yes i feed him live ones, and i fed him 2 yesterday so perhaps that was it, i fed him a smaller one this morning and he managed to keep that down which was good!

My three oldest ones poop probably less often than once a week. (They are housed together, so I'm not sure who poops when.) They are pretty big poops when they have them.
