So weird..... I have 4 Axies in one tank and one just died. He was just swimming around more this morning and I can back and he was dead on the bottom! I am so sad! the others seem fine! I have about 100 newly (one week old) laid eggs. I don't want everyone to die! HELP:cry::cry::cry:

Thank you

Was there anything on him? I had a golden albino swimming a lot and died on the bottom.
So was there anything on him or any injuries.

Actually I am so new to all of this, I truley didn't notice anything! However, since I have had them maybe two months if that..... "he" has always looked different then the rest. Just thought that was normal cause they all come different colored. no fungus spots or anything obvious to the naked eye. He ate well and was fine the night before. So, actally at a loss! they others are great and appear healthy. I just don't want anymore to die! I will do another water change tomorrow ans transfer theeggs to a new tank. Thank you everyone for your kindness.

Erica

Actually, could you take
Nitrites test and ammonia and ph.
Also what have you been feeding them?

Ok, so I have been doing water changes and have realized that the ph of my tap water is so high..... over 7.6. can I use "fish" stuff to raise the acidity and lower the ph? I have stuff from my years of fish tanks but I have read that most things for fish can't be used on for axies? Help....... I have transfered the eggs into a new tank!

Axies prefer the pH a bit higher, 7.6 is good.

7.6 is ideal. But what about the others?
Nitrites test and ammonia.
