My axolotl is floating a little help pls!!

I got a pair of them and been eating and floating a little on the steps of the tank like it wont stick its feet to the glass, i feed them frozen bloodworms and also they have an oxygen filter and also i noticed that they're very fat and also theyve been doing fine but a little floating and fat help me pls!! is this ok??i also see some poops on the tank are they doing fine? im really scared even if they're floating they also come down a little im really scared help !! T_T

Being as you've seen them going to the toilet we can pretty much rule out constipation. Do you find them slipping at the bottom of the tank (I'm guessing you have a bare bottom). If so, this and the slight floating may be due to the fact they have nothing to grip onto at the bottom. As for them being "fat" pictures would help on diagnoses as swollen abdomens can mean a number of things.

They don't look fat to me
A general rule is if the waist exceeds the width of the head, then it may be wise to cut back on the food a bit.

I have to agree with Julia, they look fine :happy: From the pictures your golden appears female. I can't really tell for the other as I can't see the cloaca! Males have a much larger cloaca region than females so it's usually quiet obvious.

They do not look fat. I would fatten them up some actually. Unless they are floating at the surface, can't swim back to the bottom of the tank, or are upside down floating is not a problem. Mine rarely have all 4 legs touching the bottom of the tank.
