Hey there obllori!
Saw your post and had to chime in too; I completely feel you....I ordered a new one a couple weeks ago; (kinda think it could be the same breeder too!) If it was the same person, I gotta say I totally trust her and her way of shipping them if it helps to hear from fellow owner going thru exact same thing. I know your scared though, and it's okay! You're gonna be a great ma if you do worry about their voyage home. Lol but i live in michigan, and thought shipping would be quicker than usual this time but I've luckily been messaging the breeder I bought from everyday that the axie hasn't showed up, even when i dont get notified about shipping one day, I still keep her updated. The breeder I'm working with has been supportive and concerned for the axie everyday, she replays quickly to messages, and told me everything she did to prepare the little guy for the voyage home (fasting, heat packs ect.) If you are by chance going thru the same person I am then besides being worried sick over your axies health at this point, dont stress over the rest! The lady I went thru is awesome, neither of us could of changed how long usps takes with their "priority" mail but I do know that younger axolotls tend to be a little hardier than adults are! Sometimes axies can even go up to 2-3 weeks straight without food too! I hope it all works out for both you and I though! Sending positive vibes, and a few pics of my male, James pond.
