My baby newts all dried up and shrink!!

Dear all, I am so sad this morning when I found all my 10 baby newts got dried and shrink!! I had them from eggs and they were all 4-months healthy eating babies!! I set up with bounce paper towel as land and a little water plate (although they don't go in much). I sprayed water every day and home temperature was 15C. It happened in just overnight!! What is gong on please?soo sad....

I'm sorry to hear that. SOme species are just hard to raise. WHat were they? The rest of the tank was moist?
