Question: my coconut bedding...mold?

well the tanks only been set up for about a week. i was trying to figure out how much moisture to have in the tank for a while so that might of caused this. i looked real hard at my salamanders coconut bedding through the tank wall, and i see little white fuzzes (TEENY TEENY TINY) in between the bedding and the tank wall. im assuming this is mold? i guess ill have to eliminate air pockets in the bedding and keep it slightly less moist. ill change the bedding first thing tomorrow, but does anyone else think this is mold?

Probably. I usually just pic out moldy bits.

You may want to try to mix your coco fiber with topsoil. This will help with structure and moisture retention.
 
Looks like mold. You can also try decreasing humidity. Do you have a solid hood type of lid? Don't panic, it's not a serious problem unless it gets all over.
