My Cynops cyanurus young

Hi everyone!
Some pictures of my juvenile Cynops cyanurus taken by my son Matthew. Not very many of them, but hopefully more eggs this year. They were leaving the water by the end of the year and are growing well. I managed to get a good supply of Daphnia from various ponds as well as other small invertebrates. I'm pleased with their good orange/red colours.

Those little guys look great!! I am very curious to see how long it will take them to return to the water, I have always had mine leave the water for only a short while.

lovely babies! I guess catching wild inverts for them most closely approximates a wild-type diet and would pay off in belly color.

Lovely animals, Richard. I have been hoping to see pics of them since you told me that they had metamorphosed! Best of luck raising them - hopefully the adults will breed again this Spring!
