It's a golden albino, one of the most popular color morphs. Without a better shot of the cloaca, I can't hazard a guess at sex.

It's not an Goldenalbino who are the Red Eyes ? The same Color have my Axolotl ;)

The first picture clearly shows a golden iris with a non-black pupil.

Your axolotls appear to be light colored wildtypes, but without a close up of the face, it's hard to say.

Hi Kaysie no Problem i have better Photos to see more details

The first is a wildtype, the second is a golden albino, and the last group looks sickly. Some are thin, one has significantly curled gills, and some appear to have patches of fungus.

We say to the first one Copper Colored Axolotl from Belgium the second one is a Goldalbino Axolotl the other ones mixed some Goldalbinos and some Tigers it's a mix of an Axolotl and Tigersalamander.

I have a Picture of my Wildtype

I thought golden albinos have orangey red eyes that sort of match their skin.
My axies eyes are a shiny silver colour with black iris.

Sinead its a wild-type. It is lightly coloured though. Its parents were probably wild-type and golden albino.

When I first looked at the pictures I couldn't decide whether it was a golden (light) coloured wildtype or golden albino - wasn't sure of the colour of eyes until you stated them.

Are you able to post better pictures of the rear legs, or have you visited this page: www.axolotl.org/biology.htm

Sure Ill post some better pics as soon as Banda gets in the right position.
Bandas' about 20cm so not to sure if she/he should start to mature any time soon.
But my be nice to call Banda a definate he or she.

Jay, that's not an accurate statement. Axolotls don't have incomplete dominance. That is, a wildtype and a golden aren't going to cross to make a 'dark gold' or a 'light wildtype'. A parent carrying light wildtype genes will make light wildtype offspring, just as albinos will have albino offspring and leucistics have leucistic offspring, etc. They don't mix in any way. The genes that cause wildtype color are completely different than those causing albinism. There's no way they can mix.

Nice looking axy but remove the gravel if you can.
