My first Axolotl!

After over a month of preparation and searching I finally have my first axolotl! He's (guessing on gender) a beautiful wild type with gold dust gills! It looks like he has a little crown on his head so I christened him Montezuma (Monty for short)!

He may actually be a she as you can't tell what gender they are until about 12-18 months! So be prepared for possible name changes. I'm on the same side with you though, I always name my axolotl boy names because they look like boys. So far I've had 1 right, 2 wrong genders and another 2 to sex - but they have boy names anyway :lol:
