I got two new babies yesterday afternoon. I was suppose to get a wild type gfp and a Leucistic gfp, But they brought me a Leucistic and a gfp Leucistic. Both seem very healthy. I have them set up in a 20galL tank with sand some large river rocks and some fake plants. I have a little duckweed the floats on top of the water and a few peices of other plants. I have guppy fry and a few platy fry in the tank with them. The fry seem scared of the much bigger Axolotls. (i am ok if the fishes get eaten) I let them explore their new home and left them alone for 4-5 hours then I offered small peices of earthworm which they took right away. I found what I believe to be an Axie poop this morning, ;-) not sure why I thought it would be different than it was. A nice little dark capsule. Interesting, Well I have to think of names now. The reg Leucistic is very interested in me while the gfp dosent seem to care if I am around or not. I am very excited and pleased with the new babies.
