Today my eurycea cirrigera larvae morphed! Now I have 2 adults and 1 larvae. Just wondering, has anyone else noticed that adults are much more shy and more reluctant to eat?

If the adults are wild-caught it´s perfectly normal...they are not used to captivity, they are wild animals.

The adult that I caught as an adult I understand will be shy, but I have this larvae for a few months now. He/she ate very well when it was a larvae, but now it does not seem to eat anything.

What are you trying to feed it? They should do very well on pinhead crickets, springtails, and flightless fruit flies.

Mine is almost entirely aquatic. It comes out of the water sometimes but never for more that a few minutes. I have an adult salamander who is almost 4 in long that is the same.

Hmmm...where were the larvae collected?

You could try blackworms, whiteworms, or adult brine. Also feeding them terrestrial insects might help to persuade them to spend more time on land.
