My leucistic/black-spotted axie

We were talking about my axie's coloring in the "Free for All" forum -- his black freckles have been spreading since he was a baby, as you can see:
Axl at 1 or 2 months:

Axl at 6 months (I spent hours taking these photos!)

Axl now, at 1 year, 3 months:

What a beautiful, unique looking axie. The shot taken at 6 months is especially nice. What brand of black sand is that and where did you get it? The only black sand I've found was much too sharp and abrasive, so I never used it.
