To everyone who replied to my post about my "Sick Axolotl" She is morphing apparently ! I did more research and discover she is a Tiger Salamander Larvae.
When I purchased from her from a freshwater fish collector i was told she was an axolotl. He only had 1 left due to having a heater in the tank and most of his axies died and i assume she survived. Thanks to everyone correcting what I have ! This is so exciting ! I can see that they live up to 25 years ! Living as long as my Quaker Parrot ! I'll post more pictures of Jynx of her morphing :)
Thanks again for all of your help everyone who replied to my post ! <3

Unfair, I'm looking for a tiger sal! Haha. I'm glad you're keeping her.

I'm so excited now, let's get them pics on here ASAP!:D:D:D

Haha, congrats on your new healthy salamander!

This care sheet is brilliant if you haven't seen it already :)

Looking forward to the pics x

Congratulations on your ambystoma tigrinum(tiger salamander)!!! Keep us updated if possible, can't wait to see pics!

Ha! I thought the head looked "funny" on the 1st photo - there was something about the mouth / nose that looked, well, different. I was stunned by the gorgeous colour in the 2nd photo though + I'm not knowledgable enough to determine between axies + tiger sals yet.

Here's the thread with the photos for everyone else - http://www.caudata.org/forum/f46-be...axolotl-owner-odd-spots-my-axolotls-tail.html but I'm sure we'd all love to see photos of his/ her progression :D
