My Tiger salamander

I have the most retarded tiger salamander in the world. He is afraid of crickets! Every time I put a cricket in his cage he runs away from it!

The poor thing must be terribly stressed. Provide it with adequate husbandry, and make sure he is cool and in a shady area. Don´t disturb it....it should eventually calm down and focus on eating.

Does he eventually end up eating them? I have one Tiger that only eats crickets, if I put anything else in front of him (earthworms, mealworms, waxworms) he turns his head away. My other Tiger will eat anything I put in front of him, and he is the smaller one!

I hope your Tiger likes other food if he is afraid of crickets
