That's very beautiful. I much prefer the feeling of stepping on moss in the morning over grass. It might even be on my list of favorite things.

Nikki71: I love all the mosses, are so primitive ....;

** Rodrigo: come on, a gift for you ....

Elena: I am now on vacation, and in the morning in a dressing gown with a cup of hot tea, I go around to caress my moss ....

I'm happy to see others like me, thought I was weird ...

This is where it germinates

I don't blame you at all! I love the texture and smell of moss. I would like to emulate you and have a moss yard - I already cover my terrariums with it. It's not that odd. Or maybe I'd just like to think it isn't.

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
