Need help new axolotl person

Hi, so imma be getting a axolotl in the next month or so and I’m reallly new my main concern is cycling like do I do that only when the tank is new? Do I do that all the time ? Do I have too what is cycling how can I do it for axolotls also are live plants are cause I really want some but I’m scared there might be stuff on them to make the axolotls sick I need a lot of help anyone that can? Like can I have all your tips what u do for your axolotls for cleaning plants cycling all that stuff

Otter women, I did ALOT of research over the past few days it still just dosent click and also I was told different things I was seeing what your guys opinion was. See what one I liked best, dosent hurt to ask. Thanks tho
