Neurergus age/size

Hello. I recently have got a few N. kaiseri. They are 8cm long. A newt with this size how many years have?? (They are CB but i dont know here from or from each year. Also witch size they begin laying eggs?? I dont know much... I only keep these guys for 2weeks but i noticed that 2 have a volcano shaped cloaca even being only the 8cm long...

Hi Jorge,

when I got my kaiseri (CB) they´ve been half a year old and 7 cm in size. At the age of 11 months, they´ve been 10-11cm. So I guess, that yours are 8 or 9 months old.
They become sexual maturity when they are 2-3 years old.

I think that is interesting... Neurergus arent mature at a size of 10-14cm? Yours with 11 months are then adults? That point of view it means that next spring my Kaiseri will be sexual mature then? Cheers,
