can people who are keeping Neurergus kaiseri please post some info on the best way to keep these newts, i have always wanted some and planning on it next year, any pics would be grest too, thanks
 
You should also note that these are really NOT beginner species.
 
sorry, i'm not a beginner, although i show as a junior member, just comming back to amphibians and Kaiseri were on my shopping list before i went to reptiles.
just wanted to get a feel as how you guys were keeping them, i have my own ideas just wanted to compare, thanks

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
